Museum-apartment of V. E. Meyerhold

The museum is located in the memorial apartment of Vsevolod Meyerhold, where his office was restored. Permanent exhibition "Meyerhold - actor". The actor in the Meyerhold Theatre is dedicated to the life and work of the brilliant director-reformer of the XX century, who had a huge influence on all the subsequent development of world theater culture. It tells about the life and work of V. Meyerhold – both pre-revolutionary and Soviet period, about his fate, about the people who were close to the Master at various periods of his life.

The exhibition presents photographs from V. Meyerhold’s performances, rare family photos from his archive, documents, sketches of costumes and scenery, stage costumes, models of scenery for Meyerhold’s performances of different years.
