Museum of Theatre Dolls S.V. Obraztsova

The Obraztsov Theatre Museum is a unique collection of exhibits reflecting the history of the world puppet theater, which is considered one of the largest in the world. The museum has about 4,000 theater puppets of various sizes and control systems collected from more than 50 countries. Some of our dolls are hundreds of years old, and some are not even five. However, we store not only dolls, but also valuable archival documents, including personal funds of outstanding figures, connoisseurs and researchers of domestic and foreign puppet theater, posters, performance programs, sketches, props, scenery elements, theater costumes, negatives, photos, slides, movies and audio recordings.
