Museum of Air Defense Forces

15 km from the Moscow Ring Road, surrounded by a forest, not far from the picturesque lake, there is a unique on the presented exposition and the only museum in Europe of the history of the Air Defense Forces. The collection includes more than 16,000 exhibits, 400 of which are real samples of military equipment and weapons. Acquaintance with them will provide a rare opportunity to discover little-known facts from the history of the country, will allow you to take a new look at many events of the not so distant past.

Guests of the museum will not only be able to get acquainted with the contribution of the Air Defense Forces of the country to the victory of the USSR in the Second World War, but also learn a lot about the participation of air defense soldiers in local conflicts in various regions of the world. Before the visitor will pass the fate of people whose biographies have become legends. The latest exposition tells about what is being done today to protect the peaceful labor of Russian citizens from a possible aerospace attack.

The guests will be much interested in recently declassified materials on the activities of a number of defense enterprises, such as NPO Almaz, ICD Fakel, IRI Agat, Phazotron-NIIR Corporation. If desired, visitors to the museum can be photographed directly at the samples of military equipment, taking the place of the shooter of an anti-aircraft machine gun loading the guns, or for a time become the number of the launcher of an anti-aircraft missile system.
