Military Historical Museum of Armored Weapons and Equipment

The Military Historical Museum of Armored Weapons and Equipment is the curator of the history of domestic and foreign tank building. It contains one of the richest collections of armored vehicles in the world, with more than 300 samples from around the world, and 60 of them in a single copy. The pavilions of the museum present unique machines that have passed heavy battles of world wars and local conflicts.

The largest section of the museum collection is devoted to domestic armored vehicles. Examining the museum expositions, you can trace the path of formation and development of tank building in Russia. Tanks 30-40-ies, including the first serial domestic tank MS-1, light tanks T-26 and wheel-tracked tank BT, heavy five-turret tank T-35, the legendary Victory tank T-34 and the formidable heavy tank IS-2. "Revolutionary tanks" of the Soviet army of the post-war generation T-54, T-55, PT-76 and T-62. The pride of our country is the main battle tanks T-64, T-72, T-80.
