About the company:

The Bogorodskoye Gallery is a unique space combining interest in the history of the district and support for new names in contemporary art. Keeping a focus on the development of the local community, the gallery builds a close and accessible relationship between people and art.

The exhibition hall “Bogorodskoye” was created in 1989. Today it is an experimental exhibition space where exhibitions of young artists and art groups are regularly held. Since 2014, the gallery has been part of the Moscow Exhibition Halls Association. The main task of Bogorodsky is to popularize culture among the population and build a close and accessible relationship between people and art. The gallery is aimed at visitors of all ages.

The Bogorodskoe Gallery is one of the most compact halls of the Unification. Nevertheless, the premises in which the gallery is now located have always been public: at the very beginning there was a library, then the exhibition hall of the Union of Artists. Many old-timers come to see how the space has changed and tell how they remember the place. We respect our history and memory of the area and select exhibitions so that every visitor can find something expensive and important in them. Accessibility and at the same time “layered” works of art are our main reference point. All exhibitions in our gallery are formed under the age limit of 0+ - largely due to the fact that the gallery actively works with schoolchildren for whom it holds free quests for exhibitions.
