Kuznetsky Bridge Street is the oldest shopping street in the capital. Since the XVIII century, there were many food shops, shops with fashionable French outfits. Since 1992, the exhibition hall of the Moscow Union of Artists was opened in the former Torletsky-Zakharyin Revenue House. Since then, exhibitions of Moscow artists have been constantly held here.
Among the most famous art projects of the Ministry of Agriculture of recent years are the annual exhibitions “Russian Province” (painting) and “On Christmas Eve” (decorative and applied arts), poster competitions, the exhibition “The World is visible and invisible”, the exhibition “Sculpture of Small Forms” and “Still Life”, many personal exhibitions of folk and honored artists, etc.
