Wellness center "Sandunovsky bath complex" in Moscow

Wellness center "Sandunov Bath Complex" is not only the oldest baths of the capital founded by Sila Nikolaevich Sandunov in 1808, but also an architectural and engineering miracle. Chaliapin, for example, called them “Tsar-bath”, admiring their huge halls, high vaults, wonderful stucco, marble staircases, golden paintings and statues.

The complex of Sandunovsky baths today is a standard of Russian baths, which preserved authentic interiors created by the famous Viennese architect B. Freudenberg, on behalf of Alexei Nikolaevich Gonetsky in 1896.
