The Vorobyov Gory metro station is located on the Sokolnicheskaya line (line 1) of the Moscow metro and is located between the Sportivnaya and University stations. It was opened on 12 January 1959, but reopened on 14 December 2002.

Architecture and decoration
Vorobyov Hill station is unique in that it is located on the bridge across the Moskva River. This is the only Moscow metro station located on the bridge. The design of the station includes glass panels, thanks to which passengers can admire the views of the Moscow River and the surrounding sights.

History
The station was closed for renovation in 1983 due to damage to the bridge. After a lengthy renovation, including a complete renovation of the station and a bridge upgrade, the station was reopened in 2002. Sparrow Mountains are considered one of the most picturesque and unusual stations of the Moscow metro.
