Lake Lupce

Lupce is a picturesque lake located on the river Lupce Savino in the Murmansk region of Kandalaksha district, at an altitude of about 23 meters above sea level. On the river Lupce Savino there are several other lakes. The river originates from Lake Great Savino, and like Lake Lupce itself, belongs to the water system of the White Sea.

Not far from the lake, right on the river there is a military settlement of urban type Lupce Savino. And along its shore stretches the highway Cola. The shores of the lake are wooded, in places wetlands, covered with spruce and pine boron. The nearest major city is Kandalaksha.
