Northern Fleet Air Force Museum

Safonovo, Murmansk region, 184620

About the company:

The museum was built on the initiative of the political department of the Air Force of the SF by the hands of North Sea aviators. Designed by non-professional craftsmen.

The museum has three halls: wartime, memory of the dead, post-war period.

In the hangar of the museum there is a collection of aircraft. Many of them were found in the hills and restored by aviators of the North Sea.

In 1983, the house in which Yuri Gagarin lived during his service in the Arctic was transported from the village of Korzunovo. The house has been restored and the exposition is open.
