Prepare for a real journey into the past - after all, this weekend you will spend on board the only in Moscow, a unique three-masted frigate. Our trip will be interesting to everyone: children and adults, avid travelers and just wanting to spend a weekend outside the city, restless and contemplatives, fans of military themes and history and all lovers of antiquity. All right, let's get on with the wind!

A little history. The era of naval ships of the frigate type fell on the XVII-XVIII centuries. Then on board these sailing giants, which became the predecessors of cruisers, the waves of corsairs and “noble pirates” were dissected. They fought in the seas and oceans, defended or captured merchant ships traveling between continents and countries, and if the team got valuable treasures on board, they could go to the “Treasure Island” to bury the treasure.

We will visit a modern, equipped with the latest technology, comfortable vessel, which, at the same time, can not be distinguished from an ancient frigate. Created today on an individual project in a single copy, the ship looks like in a historical picture. Rangout (masts and rays) with grotto-mast, fock-mast and bizanne-mast, bushprit (sloping mast on the nose), full rigging (a set of all tackles) with ropes, tags, bakstags and forduns, straight and oblique sails, gun deck with active guns.
Can you imagine the effect our company will have on tourists sailing past on ordinary river heat-propelled boats?!

Moving to Dedenevo (~45 km).
Excursion to the Moscow Canal Museum.
Channel them. Moscow is a unique hydraulic ensemble of the XX century, created in record time (4 years and 8 months!).
Connecting two great Russian rivers - Moscow and Volga - the canal opened a new page in the history of Russian shipping.
We will delve into the history of its creation, examining the details of giant airlock pumps, listening to the truthful, often tragic details of the construction of the canal and marveling at the power of human thought captured in the giant structure and in unique photographs.

Moving to Dmitrov (~56 km).
Dmitrov is truly a city of historical contrasts! You will see this for yourself during our tour.
Dmitrov can be called the capital of Moscow sculpture. Dmitry Solunsky and Yuri Dolgoruky, Saints Cyril and Methodius and Dmitry Donskoy. A whole galaxy of “residents” of merchant Dmitrov is located on Kropotkinskaya Street – a real chronicle in faces! Here, by the way, lived a prominent geographer, traveler and public figure Prince Peter Alekseevich Kropotkin – he too seems to have just left his Dmitrov house and sits peacefully in cut-off boots on a bench, basking in the sun.
The pearl of Dmitrov is the ancient Kremlin with the snow-white Assumption Cathedral of the XVI century, where the unique round ceramic icon “The Miracle of George about the Serpent” is stored, the only such shrine in Russia. From the top of the rampart offers a beautiful panoramic view of the narrow city streets with ancient buildings, the bazaar and stunning surrounding fields that stretch to the horizon.
From the point of view of the main topic of our tour, Dmitrov also takes not the last place! After all, during the Great Patriotic War, the fascists aimed at this section of the Moscow region to seize the hydraulic complex and turn the power of the locks against the capital, simply flooding the city. The famous memorial complex at Peremilovskaya Height - including this victory.

Return to Moscow to the nearest metro station (Altufievo). End of program.
