The museum has existed for over 30 years. It was founded as a public organization until 1979. Since 1988 - the status of a state museum. It has a very rich archive. It is located in a building that is a historical monument of architecture. This is one of the first stone two-storey buildings in the city. The museum has eight halls, which host permanent and traveling exhibitions provided by the Penza Museum of Local History. |
