Naro-Fominsk

Estate of V.P. Berg

pos. Pervomaysky, Naro-Fominsky district, Moscow region

Description:

The estate appeared in the early XX century. By special order for Berge, architect V. Adamovich built small two-storey houses in the style of eclecticism from wood. Carved windows, high columns, walls, sheathed with carved birch bark pleased the eyes of passers-by. The owner of the estate was a famous gold prospector and loved to live on a wide foot.

Today there is very little left of the former luxury. Some of the floors in the lord's houses collapsed, the paint peeled off, the doors skewed. But the overall appearance was not affected. In addition to the rich choir Berge in the homestead, homestead buildings have also been preserved: an animal yard, a carriage shed and a water tower.

Centuries-old buildings surround the park, which stretches up to the bank of the Desna River. There grow rare varieties of larch, fir and other coniferous trees.

In 2008, the land near the estate was sold for the construction of a cottage village. Work has long been under way. The new owners, remembering their predecessors, did not change the name. That's how we left Bergov.
