The memorial complex was founded in February 1997. The exhibition includes paintings, photographs, documents about the genocide against the Ingush people on February 23, 1944 and events in the suburban region of North Ossetia - October and November 1992, as well as documentary information about other peoples subjected to repressions in the period 1934-1944. |
The memorial complex was built in February 1997 in the form of nine combined mountain towers, entangled with barbed wire. The tower has 4 floors, its height is 25 meters. Around the towers are eight combined mountain towers. Each of the towers reflects the architecture of different historical epochs of the Ingush people. Artist-architect Murat Polonkoev. |
