Neftegorsk District Children's Museum

The Neftegorsky District Children’s Museum opened in the year of the centenary of the Children’s Museum Movement, it is a kind of family club, children and parents participate in special programs, create a museum with their own hands, through which they transmit their life experiences and traditions. Through family heirlooms and objects exhibited in the museum, residents of the city and the district learn about each other. The main goal is to serve children, taking into account their psychological and age characteristics, the opportunity to discuss with them the problems of our society, creating a creative environment in which the child explores the history of the region, the city in the context of the development of world civilizations.

The main methods of the museum are interactivity, immersion in the past, theatricalization, problem-heuristic conversations.
