City Art Gallery "Yugoria"

August 1, 1995 for the first time in the region was registered private art gallery "Yugoria". Its founders are the creative family community of professional artist and art critic Nikolai and Olga Savostyanov. Purpose of opening gallery, 1. The gallery provides acquaintance with the fisheries of Siberia. Tobolsk fishing is famous for a miniature sculpture of the X1X century, which depicts the life and work of the indigenous peoples of the North - hunting, trips on deer and dogs, fishing, shaman scenes. For the production of bone carvings, various types of bone are used - mammoth, walrus, tsevka, sperm whale tooth. The traditional technological method in the processing of bone carvings is volumetric carving.

Art products from birch bark - Tomsk masters. Crushing on birch bark is one of the oldest types of folk decorative art. The traditional pattern of birch bark lace is openwork plant ornament. Stone carving is one of the oldest folk art crafts. The main attention of masters and artists of stone carving art is aimed at revealing the natural beauty of the stone - its color, structure and pattern.
