In 1993, it was decided to move the monument to another location. However, this action of the authorities caused a violent reaction and dissent of the people. In addition to the monument, the street of the city was first named in honor of the great revolutionary, and then the whole district.
Mullanur Vakhitov was not only a revolutionary, but also a very well-read, educated man. He graduated from economics and then entered law school. But it could not be completed, as there were difficulties with money. Mullanur Vakhitov fought all his life for the freedom and rights of the Eastern peoples. Therefore, it left a very important mark on the history of the city. He was appreciated and respected for his desire, for his ability to clearly and clearly express his thoughts. Unfortunately, the life of this great man ended tragically. He was shot in 1918.
