This is an active Orthodox church located on the territory of the Kremlin. Then the excursion program will continue with a visit to the Savior-Eufimiev Monastery, a unique shrine with a centuries-old history. Under its walls, Vasily the Second, the Dark, was captured, in the same monastery the tomb of the Pozharsky and Khovansky princes, under the Romanovs it contained political criminals, and during the Great Patriotic War German prisoners, including Field Marshal Paulus. Now the monastery is not functioning, it is a museum complex. On the territory of the monastery we will examine the interiors of the "Savior-Transfiguration Cathedral". The walls of this cathedral were painted in 1689 by the artel of Kostroma masters. The artists worked under the guidance of the famous Guri Nikitin – “painter of the 1st article”, who was invited by tsars and patriarchs, metropolitans and Posad people to decorate the churches of Moscow, Rostov, Yaroslavl, Vologda.

The museum recreates the layout of a small village of the Vladimir province: on the high picturesque bank of the Kamenka River there are two churches and a chapel, from which there is a rural street with residential houses of people of different classes, economic buildings.
