Seraphimo - Diveevsky Monastery - the fourth lot of the Virgin

Seraphimo – Diveevsky monastery in the Nizhny Novgorod region is one of the amazing places of our region.

What awaits you during the tour:

• An exciting journey through the Nizhny Novgorod region. During which you will see the beautiful natural landscapes of our region.
• You will learn about the sights and history of the region.
• You will see the ancient city of Arzamas. You will visit the Cathedral Square. If it is open, be sure to visit the Sunday Cathedral. On the walls of which you can see wonderful paintings in the styles of Alfresco, as well as see the main shrines of the cathedral: the miraculous Life-Creating Cross of the Lord, the carved image of Nikola Mozhaisky and the ancient icon of the temple - the Resurrection of Christ - a gift of Ivan the Terrible.
• In the village of Diveevo, we will take a tour of Seraphimo - Diveyevo Monastery. We will see all its temples and territory, walk along the “holy groove”. We will enter the main Trinity Cathedral, where the relics of St. Seraphim of Sarov are stored, and in the center of the temple the especially revered icon of the Mother of God “Tenderance”.
• We will go to the most famous holy spring among the people – St. Seraphim of Sarov. Swimming, in which it is a real pleasure in winter and summer.
• We'll have lunch at the monastery refectory.
• In the evening we will return to Nizhny Novgorod.

Organizational moments:

• The tour is designed for 10-12 hours. We leave Nizhny Novgorod in the morning and return to Nizhny Novgorod in the evening.
• The cost of guide services per excursion: 5000 rubles. from a group of 1 to 7 people or 800 rubles. per person from a group of 8 to 10 people.
• Transport is provided by travelers or ordered by a guide: from 4000 rubles. for 1-4 people (personal passenger car "Chevrolet" guide), from 7000 rubles. for 5-10 people (minivan or minibus)
• The program provides time for lunch (35-45 minutes) - if desired in the monastery refectory or in the nearest cafe and is paid by tourists additionally.
• There are no age restrictions and children are allowed.
• The start time of the tour and the meeting place are discussed personally.

IMPORTANT:

• To visit the monastery, women need to take care of appropriate clothing: a headscarf to cover the head, a long dress or a skirt.
• Men in shorts, women in miniskirts or men's clothes, with their heads uncovered are not allowed on the territory of the monastery.
• Swimming in springs requires shirts (men and women).
