The temple of the icon of the Mother of God “Joy of All Who Sorrow”

Description:

This is an unusual in architectural and artistic design temple with a complicated, approximately identical three-domed completion of the prayer hall and bell tower. Under the tiered central tower of the bell tower, five bells were hung in an arched opening with a weight-bandage. The decoration of the facades is stylized under the ancient Russian architecture: barrels are used in the solution of the roof, the cornice - false mashikuli, windows - keel-shaped casings. The laying of the church took place on August 22, 1894 by Bishop Vladimir of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas (1892-1900). At the base of the throne is placed a commemorative copper plaque about the construction of the temple "according to the plans of the architect V. N. Bryukhatov". The church was consecrated in 1896, again with the rite of great consecration in 2005.
