The Church of the All-Merciful Savior is a three-part Orthodox church in Nizhny Novgorod, which was founded on October 17, 1888 in honor of the miraculous salvation of the family of Emperor Alexander III during the misfortune with the train that occurred on the Kursk-Kharkov Railway.

The project of the temple was developed by the St. Petersburg academician of architecture A. M. Kochetov in the ancient Russian style of the XVII century on the type of the church of the suburban village of Ostankina. The church was designed for 1,700 people.

On June 7, 1899, the foundation stone of the church was laid. After the revolution, the church remained an active parish, which was truly unique at the time.
