Fedorovsky Embankment

Nizhny Novgorod embankment of Fedorovsky is part of the historically significant district of Zapochainje, which received its name thanks to the famous scientist Nikolai Fedorovsky.

Several decades ago, the Pokhvalinsky funicular operated on the city embankment, but the historical place owes its modern appearance to the project of the sixties of the last century, when the construction of bridges and the arrangement of congresses took place.

Relatively recently, large-scale reconstruction works were carried out on the embankment, thanks to which the drainage and engineering protection systems were updated, beautiful and comfortable terraces were erected. Thanks to the improvement, currently the magnificent views of the Volga River are not overshadowed by unfinished buildings and neglected areas, and the embankment has become one of the most visited places in the city.
