Christmas street

Christmas Street is located in the city center, connecting Markin Square and National Unity, River Station, Annunciation Monastery. You can get here by tram number 1 and buses 9, 26, 42, 43, 45 to the stop "Markin Square".

The street begins with the Pokhvalinsky Congress, where the estates of merchants and nobles are located. Now there are numerous hotels and cafes. Further, in the depths of the street is a unique Christmas Stroganov Church. It is built of red brick and decorated with white stucco. Markin Square divides the street in half. Here from the river station you can go for a walk on the ship. Christmas Street ends with the National Unity Square. Here the Church of the Nativity of John the Forerunner, the Ivanovo Tower, the monument to Minin and Pozharsky are located.
