Description:
The Trinity Cathedral was built in the place indicated by the holy elder Seraphim of Sarov. The cathedral is the center of the monastery ensemble. The temple is fifty-three meters high. It has six pillars with three asps.
In the post-revolutionary years, the cathedral building was used as warehouses of building materials and grain. The cathedral was desecrated, destroyed. And only in 1989 it was transferred to the Orthodox Church, restored and a year later the first services were held. Four years ago, the temple was painted by artists from the Trinity-Sergius Lavra.
In the Trinity Cathedral there is a cancer with the holy relics of St. Seraphim of Sarov. The Trinity Cathedral is located on the territory of the Seraphim-Diveevsky monastery.
