November 20, 1985 in Nizhny Novgorod was opened an unusual station "Engine of the revolution", the passage of which is a straight line. In other words, standing on its platform, even with the naked eye, you can see the Zarechnaya station that follows it.
The architectural solution, embodied in powerful rectangular, expanding to the top columns of white color, gives the apron hall monumentality. And the muted yellow-gray colors unite all the rooms into a single integral ensemble. Also, granite floor and gray marble inserts were used to create color unity.
The production-revolutionary theme of the station is reflected by the use of metal parts in the decoration of the station hall: framed by the inner surface of columns and spans and wall letters of the station name. The main color accent of the station are two panels, made in the style of Roman mosaic and conveying in allegorical form the pathos of the revolutionary movement.
