House-Museum of V.A. Chivilikhin

The museum building is connected by a gallery with the house in which the future writer was born in 1928. According to the description of relatives, the museum staff carefully recreated the atmosphere of the time when the Chivilikhin family lived in it.

In the storeroom of the house, visitors are presented with household utensils, household items of the 20-30s. About the life and work of V. Chivilikhin tell the personal belongings of the writer, books, pages of manuscripts, photos presented in the exhibition hall. Of great interest to visitors is the collection of cones of conifers (total - 64 species), collected by V. Chivilikhin, which was donated to the museum by Elena Vladimirovna - the writer's widow.

Since the opening of the museum, it has become a good tradition to hold all-Russian, all-Kuzbass Chivilikhin readings on the Mariinsky land. Every five years Moscow guests, writers, poets of Kuzbass and Siberia, dealing with the problems of ecology, preservation of historical and cultural heritage of Russia, gather in the house-museum.
