About the company:
CHE Art Gallery is one of the few private art galleries in post-Soviet Siberia. It was founded in 2003 by Novosibirsk artist Andrey Chernov as a reflection of changes in Russian art that came out of a totalitarian coma. The gallery works both with masters - leaders of the Novosibirsk art life, and with young and aspiring artists who strive to prove their worth. The gallery is directly involved in the artistic process of the city of Novosibirsk, preserving the character of a progressive institution. The experience of promoting the “promoted” artists of the 1980s allows the gallery to continue to form a circle of names that are destined to define the face of Novosibirsk art in the new century. Timely and accurate selection of the authors has determined the value of its exhibition space. In addition to regularly displaying the works of selected artists within its walls, the CHE Gallery is known as a participant in large-scale exhibitions held in exhibition and museum spaces of Novosibirsk. One of the most important strategies of the gallery is to work with young artists from Novosibirsk. An important role in the formation of a new generation is played by information about the activities of the gallery, built into the context of the global artistic process.
