Cinema is small and cozy, designed for 84 seats. The cinema exists at the State Institution of Culture "Novosibirskkinovideoprokat". Since the late 90s on the basis of the cinema hall are constantly working film clubs "Illusion" and "Elite Club", which in 2004 was renamed the film club "Cinema for the advanced". The first focuses on world classics, starting from the silent period, and on the most famous names of directors. The second is mainly for fresh art house and little-known names. Cinema differs from modern cinemas in that here you can watch both novelties and classics of foreign and Russian cinema, non-commercial cinema, cult, as well as film rarities. For several years in a row, cinema festivals around the world are held in the Cinema cinema hall. So, only in 2004-2005 there were festivals of German, Argentine, Swedish, Indian, Belarusian cinema, French and Israeli cinema. The cinema also works with educational institutions, conducting film lectures on literary works of the school program.
