Cinema named after Vladimir Mayakovsky

630099 Novosibirsk, Krasny Prospekt, 23

About the company:

The Cinema named after V. Mayakovsky was built in 1924 according to the project of A. D. Kryachkov and was called "Sovkino", and later - "Roskino". The rectangular building had two rooms - a foyer and an auditorium. Initially, the entrance to the cinema was near the roadway, which created a danger for the audience, so Kryachkov organized it from the corner. In this form, the cinema stood until 1968 and was destroyed, and a new one was built in its place.

In 1996, the cinema was reconstructed. Now it is one of the largest buildings in Novosibirsk. Sessions here are from 12.00 to 22.00.

In the auditorium for 1080 seats, meetings are also held with famous actors - such as, for example, Renata Litvinova, Andrei Zvyagintsev, Vladimir Mashkov.

Modern equipment with the Italian Dolby Stereo system ensures sound and image quality. Recently, the 5D room opened, where you can not only feel the special effects, but also “take part” in the action of the film. Near the cinema there is a parking lot, and in the cafe lobby you can have a snack.
