Akademgorodok - Novosibirsk Center for Science and Innovation, Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Akademgorodok was founded in the late 1950s for the needs of the Academy of Sciences. Already in Soviet times, his fame extended far beyond the borders of the country. On this tour you will walk along the smartest street in the world, admire the old and new buildings of Novosibirsk State University and learn its history. Visit the House of Scientists with a winter garden. You'll get some fresh pine air, because Akademgorodok is the greenest district of Novosibirsk. During its construction, Nikita Khrushchev ordered to preserve the maximum possible amount of green space, and the buildings should not be taller than trees.
You will see a unique monument of a laboratory mouse and visit the wonder shop of Russian cuisine.
If you wish and have time, you will visit the open-air Railway Museum and/or the Geology Museum. It contains a unique collection of minerals and other minerals.
