Church and Historical Museum of the Novosibirsk Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church

In the new building of the Novosibirsk Diocesan Administration of the Russian Orthodox Church on Sibrevkom Street, a solemn consecration of the Museum of the History of the Novosibirsk Diocese took place. The idea of creating this museum appeared when, during the restoration of the practically destroyed Moscow St. Danilov Monastery, unique things began to come across - from ancient coins to buttons from the uniforms of Napoleonic soldiers, who, as you know, loved to arrange stables and slaughterhouses in Orthodox churches. Many ancient exhibits were discovered during the laying of communications through the ancient monastery cemetery of the XIII century.
