Monument of wooden architecture on the street. October No. 15

Description:

Monument of wooden architecture on the street. October No. 15.One-storey wooden house is an example of a residential city house of Novonikolaevsk of the early XX century, in whose architecture the traditions of wooden folk architecture and Baroque architecture are closely intertwined. It was built by Konstantin Petrovich Buzolin on Boldyrevska Street (October) on the 4th section of the 27th quarter of the Central part of Novonikolaevsk.

There is little information about Buzolin: in the Siberian Commercial and Industrial Calendar for 1904 it is mentioned that he traded in manufactures and other goods in Kolyvan.

In 1920, Buzolin’s house was transferred to the district committee and used as a residential one. In 1933, due to the need to expand the territory, the building was transferred to Gormolzavod. It is now used as an administrative office.
