Bergul House-Museum of P.P. Bazhov

Bergul House-Museum named after P.P. Bazhov was opened on January 20, 1984 in honor of the first teacher Pavel Petrovich Bazhov. Every year in January, “Bazhov Days” are held to the birthday of the scribe: quizzes, drawing competitions and crafts based on Bazhov’s fairy tales, competitions of readers, etc. The house-museum is decorated with mosaics under malachite, coinage according to the stories of Bazhov and paintings. The museum has household items and bones of prehistoric animals that are found in Bergula and nearby villages.
