About the company:
The expositions and funds of the Yu.V.Kondratyuk Memorial Museum became the basis for the formation of the Novosibirsk Museum. Four halls on the 1st floor of the building are equipped with multimedia equipment. Exhibitions and other events of the museum are accompanied by the screening of films and slide shows, retro equipment is used: a music box of the XIX century, Soviet radio, film cameras and others.
In 2010, the Museum announced itself with bright exhibition projects: “Contribution of Novosibirsk to the Great Victory”, “Twin Cities of Novosibirsk”, “City of Astronomy”, “Funs of City Children”, “Novosibirsk: Man – City”.
The first hall is dedicated to the amazing fate of Yuri Vasilyevich Kondratyuk (real name Alexander Ignatievich Shargey), his creative heritage. The exposition presents historical photographs and models of grandiose construction structures erected according to the projects of Yuri Kondratyuk, as well as photo materials and multiscale models demonstrating the implementation of his space ideas.
Time seems to have stopped here: old office furniture, a shabby employee’s briefcase and a sitting man, very similar to Kondratyuk.
The exposition of the second hall – “Space exploration and the capital of Siberia” – presents a model of the first artificial Earth satellite, equipment, food samples and hygiene products of Russian cosmonauts, a collection of space clothes, a real astronaut’s chair with a bed and much more.
In the halls of the Museum, you can hold various joint exhibitions from the collections of small museums, dedicating them to a specific anniversary, the sphere of urban life (culture, medicine, trade, etc.), individual historical events, honorary citizens and honored people.
The main fund of the Museum has 278 items of storage, scientific and auxiliary - more than 6500 thousand. These are unique documents and exhibits, an extensive video library, a significant library fund.
