Museum of A. I. Pokryshkin

The Museum of A.I. Pokryshkin was opened on March 5, 1998 in the building of the Novosibirsk Technical College named after A.I. Pokryshkin. In 1932, this educational institution was called the School of Factory Apprenticeship at the Sibkombain plant, it was graduated from the future famous pilot, three times Hero of the Soviet Union, Marshal of Aviation A.I. Pokryshkin, here he received the profession of a locksmith.

The main goal of the museum is to preserve the memory of an outstanding countryman and promote the patriotic education of young people. The museum has rooms:

• Hall dedicated to A.I. Pokryshkin, his biography and combat path;

• Echo of War Hall;

• Hall dedicated to the post-war activities of A.I. Pokryshkin;

Movie theater.

The basis of the collection of the museum is historical material consisting of photographs, documents, items related to the biography of A.I. Poryshkin, award documents, orders and medals of participants of the Great Patriotic War and labor veterans, photographs and documents telling about the history of the college. In the hall "Echo of War" decorated diorama "Air combat A.I. Pokryshkin in the sky over Kubar". In the design of the diorama used items of the Great Patriotic War (helmets, cartridges, etc.), found by searchers of the Kaliningrad region on the battlefields.
