About the company:
Novosibirsk State Art Museum is one of the most significant collections of Russian and foreign art of the XVI - early XXI century in Siberia.
The halls of the museum first opened to visitors in late December 1958. Since 1982, it is located in the building of the former Sibrevkom - an architectural monument of federal significance, built in 1926 according to the project of the outstanding Siberian architect A.D. Kryachkov. Now in the collections of the museum there are more than 11,000 works of Russian and Western European painting, graphics, sculpture, decorative and applied art of the XVI-XXI centuries, a significant part of which is represented in the permanent exhibition.
Every year, the Novosibirsk State Art Museum exhibits about 70 exhibitions of classical and contemporary art from Russian and foreign museum, corporate and private collections, from the workshops of authors. Large exhibition projects of the last decade – the international triennial of contemporary graphics, Art-Novosibirsk, Krasny Prospekt – have earned the museum the deserved authority of one of the most attractive centers of artistic life in Siberia.
