Suzun Museum of Local Lore is one of the oldest museums of the Novosibirsk region. The museum was opened on a voluntary basis on November 19, 1967. In 1980, it was awarded the honorary title “People’s Museum”.
In 2011-2015, on the basis of the local history museum, the Zavod-Suzun museum and tourist complex was created. Mint. In 2016, the institution was renamed the Suzun Museum of Local History “Center for Historical Information”.

The total number of the museum fund is 19,819 items, which are allocated to 15 collections. Unique should be considered the numismatic collection, which presents the collection of coins of the Suzun Mint (1766-1847).
One of the priorities of the center is genealogy. For this purpose, a genealogical laboratory with an electronic reading room of the Presidential Library was created.
