Zdvinsky District Museum of Local Lore

In 1972, the Museum of Military and Labor Glory was organized. In 1991, a mansion was allocated for the museum, where it “grown” into local lore. Currently, the museum has three halls with exhibits, stands, photos and documents reflecting the history of the district.

The exposition covers topics: the beginning of Russian settlements in 1773, the beginning of the habitation of ancient aborigines - the Paleolithic and Neolithic eras. Today, 177 monuments of archaeology have been discovered - fortifications, sites, burial grounds. On some - up to 20 or more mounds. A third of the area has not been surveyed. The subject of interest of visitors are: ancient history and modernity, fauna and flora, toponymy, archaeology, ornithology, ichtheology.
