Suburban station

The suburban station of Novosibirsk was inaugurated on April 24, 2006, with the participation of local authorities. Its construction was started in 2005 by the Novosibirsk City Hall and the administration of the Novosibirsk region. The project was implemented under the terms of the Agreement on Cooperation and Cooperation between the West Siberian Railway and the branch of Russian Railways. The new station brought great benefits for guests and residents of the city, as it reduced the waiting time for electric trains. Today there are 22 ticket offices, which avoids huge queues. Also on the territory of the Prigorodny station of Novosibirsk there is a service center in which you can competently answer any question you are interested in.

When the station opened, the staff was 82 people, now it has been expanded to 125 people. The total area of the building covers about 4108.6 square meters, and a one-time capacity of 1000 people. The suburban station of Novosibirsk receives almost 60,000 passengers daily. Its infrastructure includes a help desk, bar, pharmacy and exchange office. The institution operates daily from 4:30 to 24:00.
