Description:
In the sixties, according to the project of architects - winners of the city competition in Novosibirsk, the construction of a river station on Dobrolyubov Street began.
The station building does not stand out against the background of the surrounding nature and urban massif. That is why the whole building looks concise. Clear, but at the same time harmonious horizontal lines, stairs, smoothly turning into a descent to the shore, a vertical tower - everything looks natural.
A twelve-storey hotel adjoins the river station building.
The interiors of the river station are decorated with the works of the artist V.P. Sokol.
Although the construction of the river station was delayed, it began its work in April 1974.
