Metro station "October" (Novosibirsk)
Description:
The Oktyabrskaya station was built in 1986 under Kirov Street, in the center of Novosibirsk. The station is part of the Leninskaya metro line (the first in Novosibirsk). The project of the station provides for a transfer to the promising Pervomaiskaya line.
There are two lobbies at the station: the north (from 7.00 to 21.00), connected to the platform by a flight of stairs, and the south (from 6.00 to 24.00), connected to the platform by an escalator.
Exit to the city is carried out on Kirov Street and its intersection with Makovsky, Sacco and Vanzetti streets, Voskhod and Shevchenko. Nearby are the Regional Council, the administration of the Oktyabrsky district, the Siberian Academy of Public Service, the State Scientific and Technical Library and the Kirov Park.
