Metro station "River station"
Description:
"River station" is the station with the longest railway in Novosibirsk. It connects the River Station with the Student Station and reaches 2967 meters, 2145 of which is a metro bridge. It is also one of two underground stations in Russia.
The western part of the station is completely ground, and the eastern part is underground. In this regard, the station has two lobby. East is located above the platform and has access to the cash lobby. Western, in turn, is located below the platform and has access to Bolshevist Street and bus stops.
The walls are decorated with gray-blue marble and round stained glass inserts with images of Siberian cities. In the daytime, the station does not use electric lamps, but is illuminated by daylight through the metro bridge portal.
