Metro station "Student" (Novosibirsk)
Description:
The station is part of the Lenin line of the Novosibirsk metro, located in the city center at the intersection of Marx Street and Geodesic Street. Opened in January 1986. Nearby there is a whole campus, which includes several leading educational institutions of the city, including NETI, SibUPK, NSPU, as well as several colleges: culture, arts and pedagogical.
The station is made in a strict classical style, the platform is decorated with columns. There are two lobbies on the platform. The first, facing Gorskaya Street, works from 7.00 to 20.00, the second, facing Geodesic Street - from 6.00 to 24.00.
The entrance to the city is also carried out on Marx Avenue. Nearby are: the Aurora cinema, the Regional Hospital and the Gorsky residential area. Within walking distance of Blucher Street and New Year's Day.
