Description:
The road to the beginning of the route lies along the famous Chuisky Road, connecting Russia with Mongolia. Along the way you will overcome two passes - Seminsky and Chike-Taman, which open beautiful landscapes on the Altai mountains.
The route passes along the largest and most revered river of the Altai Mountains - Katun. The name Katun is associated with the word Kadyn - queen, lady, lord. The river originates from the Gebler glacier at an altitude of about 2000 meters above sea level, on the southern slope of Mount Belukha - the highest peak of the Altai (4,506 m).
The route belongs to the new category “extreme + comfort”. For the first time on this route, accommodation is offered at recreation centers (all along the route) in combination with a large set of additional services and an increased level of service.
Travel programme:
Departure from Novosibirsk by bus at 22:00. For tourists who have ordered delivery from Barnaul, departure from Barnaul the next day (Day 1) at 8:00. The time is local, ahead of Moscow by 4 hours.
