The Municipal Museum of Local Lore has two dates of birth: May 7, 1975 - People's Museum; January 1, 1994 - Municipal Museum (resolution No. 1138 of 30.12.93). A characteristic feature and uniqueness is the museum of a small closed city. It is designed only for its city visitor. Initially, the museum was conceived as a museum of the history of the city, "City-Atomgrad". Over 25 years of existence, the museum has formed 4 permanent expositions: “Nature of our region”, “Local history”, “History of the city”, “For life on earth”. Interest in the museum is great. It is in demand by all categories of visitors due to the incredibly inspired work of researchers who apply modern interactive forms of work, including programs in museum pedagogy. |
The city has been under construction since 1945. From the point of view of the history of urban planning - a typical building of the late 40s - former nursery. For the history of the city - this is the first stone building in 1949 - for our city it is a rarity. |
