Monument to Baron Munchausen

Monument to Baron Munchausen is a modern monument to the famous German traveler and beloved character of feature and animated films, which is located in the north of Noyabrsk.

The monument to Baron Munchausen is located on the territory of the city's "Intellect Center", not far from other recently installed sculptures - Reading couple, book, Romeo and Juliet, Don Quixote. The monument depicts a baron sitting on the globe with a telescope in one hand and a long sword in the second. It was cast in bronze and installed recently – in 2012. Baron Munchausen is a favorite of the public, children often like to have fun and be photographed by adults. Together with other monuments, it is a very attractive attraction for visitors to the young city of Noyabrsk.
