Monument to the Reading Couple

Monument to the Reading Couple is a paired sculpture of lovers, which is the author’s project of the November Intellect Center. In 2006, the project of this sculpture won the November competition “Brand of the city”, and as a result, the monument was installed on May 30, 2008.

Monument to the Reading Couple is located on the territory of the city "Intellect Center", in the north of Noyabrsk in Northern Russia. It is a sculpture of two young people sitting on a bench – a brooding guy and an elegant girl with books sitting opposite. The sketch of the sculptural composition was created by Valery Anatolyevich Chaly, a famous November artist.

The sculpture itself was made in the city of Ozersk, in the Chelyabinsk region. Many visitors to the “Intellect Center” adore this monument – near it you can not only take a picture, but also relax near a couple in love.
