11.00 - 11.30 Visit to the Sretensky church of the monastery in the village of Baturino

Everyone who has ever disdained this road to Baikal, admired the ancient church, the white ship sailing through the Itanzin valley. Having visited this quiet, blessed place, you feel enlightened, ready to meet the Sacred Lake. In the monastery there are several revered shrines: a particle of the Honest Life-Creating Cross of the Lord, particles of the relics of George the Victorious, Panteleimon, Varlaam of Chikoy (founder of the Ioanno-Predechensky monastery in the Chikoy mountains on the border with Mongolia). In the church fence is also the grave of the Decembrist Ivan Shimkov.

Plans to create a special economic zone of tourist-recreational type appeared in late 2005 after a visit to the Republic of the Minister of economic development of Russia German Gref.
