Baikalsk and the beauty of Baikal

Meeting at the airport or railway station Irkutsk, transfer to the shuttle bus;

Transfer from Irkutsk by shuttle bus to Baikalsk (145 km, 2-3 hours). Baikalsk is a small cozy city with a population of 13 thousand people, located on the southern coast of Lake Baikal;

Accommodation in a hostel (accommodation from 13.00), lunch in a restaurant to choose from (at your own expense);

After rest, a sightseeing tour “Acquaintance with Baikal”, duration of 1-1.5 hours;

Back to the hostel. Free time.

Breakfast at the hostel cafe;

Trip to the Warm Lakes (46 km on the road from Baikalsk). The name "Warm Lakes" unites three forest lakes located at the spurs of Hamar Daban - "Fairy Tale", "Emerald" and "Dead", which are surrounded by the mountains "Camel" and "Cap of Monamakh". You are waiting for a walk around the three lakes, as well as through the relic forest, among poplars, reaching huge sizes in thickness;

The duration of the tour is 4-5 hours. You will need unwetted shoes and warm clothes.

Free day. Time that you can use at your discretion. For example, visit the ski resort "Mountain Sobolinaya", which is located 3 km from the hostel.

Breakfast at the hostel cafe;

Trip to the Tunkin Valley (160 km on the road from Baikalsk). This place is unique for its healing springs. The most visited is the resort "Arshan". The chemical composition is carbonaceous silicon sulfate-hydrocarbonate magnesium-calcium water. Their analogue is the waters of the Kislovodsk resort.

A good trail allows you to climb along the picturesque channel of the Kyngarg River to a 5-6 meter frozen waterfall.

This tour provides the opportunity to swim in the hydrothermal pool or shower at the Pearl spring (paid extra). The water temperature at the outlet from 38 to 55 degrees Celsius.
