Irkutsk

At 09:30 in the morning we meet at the airport or at the railway station of Irkutsk, get luggage, get acquainted.

Then we go on a sightseeing tour of the city.

The program includes visits to the main attractions of Irkutsk: the place of the foundation of the city, the Moscow Gate, the Spasskaya Church, the embankment of the Angara River, the historical quarter.

On this day, an independent visit to the Museum of Decembrists and Nerpinarium is possible.

Food: on their own, at their own expense.

Circum-Baikal Railway

At 8:30 departure for the tour "Circum-Baikal Railway".

First we take the bus to P. Listvyanka. From Listvyanka by ferry to the Port of Baikal, where boarding takes place on the tourist train Circum-Baikal Express.

At 11:00 we are going on a trip on the old railway.

KBZD is called the “golden buckle” of the steel belt of Russia. It was built in tsarist times and is rightfully the most beautiful and most expensive railway in Russia.

You will see unique architectural structures, tunnels and stone galleries and, of course, comparable views of Baikal.

Arrival in Irkutsk at about 22:00. Hotel transfer.

Olkhon Island. Cape Burhan

In the morning, we take minibuses to Olkhon, the largest and most beautiful island of Baikal.

Passing by ferry through the Strait of Olkhon Gate, we get to the island.

Another 35 miles away and we’re on the move. Khuzhir is the tourist capital of the island.

Lunch.

Hotel accommodation.

Sightseeing tour to Cape Burkhan (Shamanka Rock) - one of the nine shrines of Asia, the sacred place of the indigenous inhabitants of the island - Buryats.

Dinner.

Travel time: 6-7 hours.
Meals included: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Hoboi Cape

We'll have breakfast and go on a tour.

Today you are waiting for a trip to the northernmost point of the island – Cape Khoboy.

The tour will allow you to see all the natural landscapes of the island: from rocky cliffs and stone blocks to sand dunes and hodul trees.

Once on Khoboya, you will understand how big and beautiful Baikal is, because around you there will be endless water expanses that merge with the horizon.

Since ancient times, hoboy is revered by local residents and is considered a holy place, so you should not take any objects, move stones and shout loudly here.

After dining with a delicious Baikal ear, we go to Cape Shunte, or as it is called by the people of the Cape of Love. The guide will tell you where this name came from.

Return to base. Dinner.

South of Olkhon Island

After breakfast we go on a trip to the south-eastern part of the island.

Thanks to this trip, you will have a full picture of Olkhon.

In the program of the day secluded bays, turquoise lagoon and even one lake “Heart”. On the hot days of July and August, bring your swimsuits.

It will not do this day without bizarre rock complexes. Stone castle, trident and Stalin’s profile – what you will not see on this day.

Return to base. Dinner.

Return to Irkutsk

After breakfast on a minibus we go to Irkutsk, departure time is 12.30.

Lunch in a roadside cafe on your own.

The end of the program in Irkutsk after 19:00 (Kirov Square).
